In case you missed it...

Adam Foster over at Project Prospect posted his top 15 catching prospects in baseball. Of the catchers included, I've had the opportunity to see Jesus Montero, Travis D'Arnaud, and Max Ramirez. Among "Sally" alums are Jonathan LuCroy, Tyler Flowers, Tony Sanchez, Derek Norris, and Lou Marson. I have to see I'm surprised at the omission of Austin Romine. However, with the number of offense-oriented catching prospects, the group is extremely tough to rank.

Over at MLB Fanhouse, Frank Piliere (formerly of SaberScouting) has a great piece on a handful of Atlanta Braves prospects. Discussed are soon-to-be former Rome Braves Zeke Spruill and Dimaster Delgado, Rome alum Craig Kimbrel, along with probably 2010 Sally-leaguers Christian Bethancourt and Robinson Lopez. Piliere's take on Delgado was quite different than what I saw in person although he does speak to his problems with consistency.
